Chiromagnetism
Chiro – hand, the easy bit, we know what they are; magnetism, not so obvious – a phenomenon that is fundamentally neglected, and for good reason, but which we are told is related to, even produced by an electric charge, of which even less is known as to how that got into the human body. So, once again, we are left to figure out how this incredibly powerful, apparent combination works. And, as always in my practice, what is most important, how we can use and apply in all safety, our natural capacities.
Most forms of therapeutic work involving transferred energy, rather than applied force, use the hands. Why?
The hands and feet are magnetic conduits, a fact easy to establish with a pendulum. One hand shows positive magnetic polarity and the other, negative. The feet share the same feature, but diametrically opposite to the hands.
This flow is a combined motion, a toroidal spiral flow following the cosmic downwards movement, and the telluric upwards movement through the human magnetic creature, and operates the nerves, corresponding with the afferent and efferent functions with which they work hand in hand, metaphorically and practically! By tuning in to this flow, by becoming intimately familiar with its subtleties and timidity, one can access a certain harmony, a balance of the yin and yang if you will.
There are, however, some ground rules as regards polarity and specific areas in the human body that will make the work much easier, so avoiding fatigue and possible harm for yourself and your client. There are also many tips to guide you, and especially to avoid the unnecessary expense incurred in traditional Reiki classes with their system of degrees and requirement for physical presence to initiate and attune.
